PRIVACY POLICY

This Policy explains how e-soundtrax collects, uses and protects information when you visit e-soundtrax.com, create an account, purchase or manage licenses, download files, use Google sign-in, contact support or choose to participate in optional analytics.

1. Information we may process

Account: name, email address, language, protected authentication data and account status.

External sign-in: if you use Google, we receive the basic information needed to identify or link your account under the permissions you grant. We do not receive your Google password.

Purchases and payments: product, amount, currency, order status and PayPal technical references such as order, capture or subscription IDs. e-soundtrax does not store your complete card details.

Licenses: License Holder, holder type, project name, client/company where applicable, track, purchased product, certificates, public verification codes and information needed to evidence the scope of the license.

Support: information and messages you send through the contact form or in connection with Content ID claims, payments or licenses.

Security and operation: necessary server, session and request logs may include technical network information such as IP addresses for security, abuse prevention, diagnosis and service continuity.

2. How we use information

We use information to create and protect accounts; authenticate users; process and reconcile payments; determine offer eligibility; grant and verify licenses; generate PDFs; provide downloads; handle claims and support; prevent fraud and abuse; meet accounting or legal obligations; maintain backups and security; and improve the product.

3. Necessary cookies

We use cookies and technical storage required for sign-in, session security, essential language/preferences, purchases, licenses, downloads and security. These functions cannot be disabled through the analytics selector because they are necessary to provide the requested service.

4. Optional analytics

With your permission we use first-party analytics to understand visits and conversions and improve e-soundtrax. We do not use this measurement for personalized advertising. Refusing it does not change prices, eligibility, access, purchases or downloads.

Optional measurement uses random preference/visit identifiers, page category, track/product references, approximate screen category and general traffic source when known. After sign-in or purchase, the optional journey may be associated with the order. This information is pseudonymous and is not necessarily anonymous.

The analytics preference is remembered for up to 180 days. Optional events are retained for up to 90 days and maintenance removes older events. You can withdraw permission from Cookie preferences; collection then stops and active optional events linked to that preference are deleted. Necessary purchase, license, security or accounting records are not deleted merely because analytics is refused.

5. Providers and third parties

We may share strictly necessary information with service providers that help us operate the service, for example PayPal for payments, Google for OAuth and hosting, email, security or infrastructure providers. These providers may process information under their own policies and in different countries.

We do not sell your personal data to advertisers and do not provide license or account data to third parties for personalized advertising.

6. Retention

We keep account data while needed to provide the service or until deletion is requested, subject to legal and contractual obligations. Purchase, license, certificate, refund, dispute and accounting records may be retained longer where needed to evidence rights, comply with law, prevent fraud or resolve claims.

Backups may temporarily retain deleted information until their normal rotation cycle completes.

7. Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction or deletion of personal data and make other privacy requests available under applicable law. Deleting an account does not require deletion of information we must retain for legal, accounting, anti-fraud or contractual-license evidence purposes.

You can change optional analytics at any time from Cookie preferences.

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures, including HTTPS, access controls, backups and credential separation. No Internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The service is not intentionally directed to children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has improperly provided personal information, contact us so we can review it.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect legal, technical or service changes. We will publish the current version and its update date. Material changes may be communicated by reasonable means.
